After about four weeks of rapid prototyping, usability testing, and development, Offerchat will first see the light of day through its Alpha release. Out of almost 200 signup requests that we’ve received (big shout out to betali.st and startupli.st for the traction), we will be inviting 5 people everyday until we get 30 running Offerchat installations. I will start sending the invitations starting tomorrow.

The Alpha version will have the following functionalities:

* one operator account

* chat widget that your visitor can use to chat with you

* control panel where you can chat with all your visitors

* unlimited concurrent chats with visitors

* view customer data like browser used, OS used, page viewed
