The Offerchat live chat widget can now be easily integrated into your Prestashop online store. Big props to jeckyl for creating the live chat module. To quickly add a free live chat module for PrestaShop, follow the step-by-step instructions below:

What you need:

File of the live chat module. Download the free Offerchat live chat module and save it to your computer.
Grab it here
Access to your PrestaShop back end.

How to Install the Offerchat Free Live Chat Module

Step 1:

Login to your PrestaShop back end panel or dashboard.

Step 2:

Once inside, go the Modules tab and click to access the modules list. Or click New Module under quick links.

 

Step 3:

Click the Add New Module button at the top right of your screen.

 

Step 4:

Click Browse and locate the module file from your computer.

Step 5:

Upload the module to your site by clicking Upload This Module right underneath the Module File field. A notification message will be displayed once the module is successfully installed.

Step 6:

You’ll be back on the Modules List. Find the Offerchat live chat module and click the Install button beside the item. A notification message will appear to let you know that the live chat widget is added successfully on your online shop.

Step 7. Configure the live chat widget with your account’s unique ID key. Type it in the box on your screen as shown below.

 

 

That’s it! Go ahead and check the widget on your PrestaShop store. You can customize the actual live chat widget by logging into the Offerchat dashboard instead of your PrestaShop back end panel.
