Offerchat Goes Alpha On September 6

This week is a very exciting one and next week will not be any different, as we will launch Offerchat Alpha on September 6. The team has been working very hard to get the product out to our users as early as possible. Initially, we targeted late October as the first release but we figured it’s too long of a development. Sticking to the lean startup/customer development methodology, we further reduced the features down to the very core of any live chat tool - ability to chat with visitors.

Breaking that down further, these are the user stories that our early adopters can expect from Offerchat Alpha:

* operator can view list of visitors

* operator can use canned responses

* operator can see how long the visitor has been chatting

* operator can invite visitors to chat

* visitors can request chat session with an operator

* operator can see the location, browser used, OS used, page viewed, referrer

* operator can chat with multiple visitors concurrently

There are more stories in our Trello board but these are the major ones that I thought you should know. To end this post, here’s a screenshot of what the control panel will look like on our Alpha release. Let me know what you guys think.
