Displaying a profile photo or widget avatar puts a personal, human touch to the whole live chat customer support experience. It enables customers and site visitors to attach a friendly face to the person they’re chatting with, making the conversation more reassuring, comfortable, and light.
To add a profile photo or widget avatar to the live chat widget on your site, login to your Offerchat dashboard and follow these steps:
Go to My Account on the top navigation.
Alternatively, you can click on the default Offerchat logo on the uppermost left corner of the screen right before your name.
Click Profile to access the Personal Preferences screen as shown below.
Upload your photo.
Click the Change Photo button below the blank photo square to see the Upload Photo option. Click Upload to open your image files. Choose a new image file from your computer as your new profile photo or live chat widget avatar.
Save Changes
Click at the bottom to confirm photo addition and have your selected profile photo appear in your dashboard and in the live chat widget as your avatar display every time you go online.
